Metropolitan Ballroom is setting the national new trend for ballroom dance studios. Combination ballroom studio and lounge, Metropolitan Ballroom features over 3,000 square feet of beautiful dance space plus a modern bar and lounge.

Metropolitan Ballroom has over 8 experienced instructors and offers individual, couple, and group lessons in a variety of International and American Style Ballroom including Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba, Tango, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Quick Step, Shag, Salsa, and numerous other dances for youths and adults. The dance studio also offers lessons for wedding couples as well as uniquely choreographed wedding dances for couples. Additionally, the studio space can be rented for private and corporate functions, including private ballroom dance parties and lessons.

Metropolitan Ballroom is owned by Clément Joly, Tatiana Kazakova, Monette Bales, and Jim Manly. Monette Bales and Jim Manly are long-time Charlotte residents and entrepreneurs and both are international Latin ballroom dancers and enthusiasts. Jim and Monette manage the business aspects and development of the studio. Clément Joly and Tania Kazakova manage the creative direction of the studio as well as the experienced staff.
